Description


The daffodil is a yellow flowering narcissus. The german name is easterbell, because they bloom around Easter. They have bulbs like many other plants that grow in spring. The whole plant, especially the bulb, is poisonous. Wild daffodils grow in Eastern Europe. Their flowers are much smaller than these of the domestic ones.They are endangered. They are popular cut flowers, but they should be put alone in the water for just one day before they are put together with other plants in the vase.
