Grape hyacinths are famous bulbous plants which bloom in spring. They look the best when they planted in larger groups. The black, round seeds of the grape hyacinths are only 2 mm long. They are mainly distributed by rain, this is called ombrochorie. In Apulia lampagioni is a specialty. These are the bulbs of Muscari comosum, which can be prepared in various ways. The different types of grape hyacinth flowers have different shades of blue and some more shades of blue and also white, are bred.
