The common daisy is one of the most famous flowers in Central Europe. It grows almost everywhere, if the site is mowed regularly. The tiny seeds are dispersed by wind, rain, and different animals. You can eat young leaves and flowers of daisies. They are very delicious in salads. You can see the white daisies from March to November. They are frequented by many insects, like bees, bumblebees, hover flies and flies.
