| + | Cyclamen is a popular houseplant which likes shady and cool places. Many hybrids in a large variety of colors, from bright white to all shades of pink to dark red, are cultivated. The lowering of the fruit, a seed capsule, into the soil is the precondition for its opening. A corm is being formed which grows extensively above the ground. The corm has stems and leaves growing out of it. If you take care of your Cyclamen, it will grow and flourish for many years. Withered stems should be removed completely.
